The Warrior Women Project recovers the stories of Indigenous women who fought for self-determination and cultural survival during the Red Power movement (1960s–1980s). We document these histories through oral history, activist archiving, and community-accountable research, making them accessible through decolonial learning experiences. We believe Indigenous women’s stories must be centered in contemporary movements for justice and transformative change.
